Erika + Jack | West Wales Wedding

West Wales Wedding Photography – Jack and Erika have always wanted this wedding to be completely intertwined in the place they have always been in love with.

The relaxed, laid back vibes you get from arriving in New Quay is definitely how you feel when being around Erika and Jack. The wedding planning, the days before and the big day itself was a reflection on both their personalities; calm, relaxed and full of fun and laughter!

They took parts of New Quay which really made their wedding come to life, pebbles were collected on the beach for place names, Drift wood to make tables crafted by Jack and his Dad Steve and a stunning driftwood love arch over which was placed on the lawn outside the marquee looking over the whole coast line. They wanted the whole event to be as close to the sea as possible.

Hay bails and fancy dress were supplied by a close family friend and handy man Alwyn Jones, bails were placed on the field outside, decorated with lanterns and sea shells making a relaxed and quirky surrounding for the guests.

Keeping in theme with the Seaside Erika and Jack chose Mr Tee the Ice Cream Van to arrive and serve his delicious variety of ice creams. This worked so well along side the Hot Thai Food “Buddah Belly” which was served as the Wedding Breakfast.

Music has always been a big part of Erika and Jacks lives with them attending gigs and concerts and festivals throughout their ten year relationship so that was a big part of their day.

Megan jobling sang hallelujah acoustic in the church during the Register signing, this was so beautiful and emotional and then the night band The Ronaldo’s were perfection and kept everyone on the dance floor for the whole evening, and their first dance being Ed Sheeran’s ‘perfect’ an artist who they have always both loved and many of his songs relate to their relationship in some way.

A sweetie cart was handmade my a close friend “Gareth Jenkins” which entertained all children and of course most of the adults. His talents didn’t end there as he entertained the guests during the wedding breakfast with magic tricks around the tables.

The whole day wouldn’t have been complete with out the marvellous team at “24 Carott” they were absolutely amazing, also running the bar in the evening all such wonderful characters and organising anything that was asked for.

Rhosyn Dela the most amazing florist in Wales created pure arts of work inside the church and for the whole wedding making our outfits shine and the tables complete. Her hard work and late nights were full of pure love for what she does and couldn’t thank her more.

“The day was captured by the photographers, Richard Savage and his second photographer Chris Andrews who were a dream come true and their fun and outgoing personalities made all photos a really fun experience.
Along side the photographers where the videographers “First class” who were so calm and fun at the same time they made the day very enjoyable it’s lovely knowing the day was captured for all to see in the future’’.
