Carla & Jamie | Crete Engagement Session

8 letters, 3 words, 1 meaning… “I love you” completely soppy, cheesy and utterly romantic but this is what we say to each other, this is why our love story is my favourite.

Jamie and I first started talking when our paths crossed in work in 2008. Both being lovers of the sea it was natural that our first few dates took place in Mumbles, after a few long walks, getting stuck when the tide came in and copious amounts of ice cream, we both knew a grand adventure was about to happen.

After being together for 18 months Jamie got down on one knee and popped the question, at 18 years old we knew were meant to be. We decided that we would have a long engagement and enjoy what life had to offer before settling down into married life.

Cue 10 years, a house, new cars, a crazy cat and a very loving dog later, we FINALLY booked the wedding!! Our friends and family were over the moon and couldn’t wait to celebrate the wedding in Greece.

Naturally I started obsessing over the details (Jamie especially loved this part) I spent hours on Instagram stalking out photographers looking for someone with a bit more flare than your standard classic wedding photographer. Rich happened to comment on my “We’re getting married” post and after getting lost in his photos, an appointment was made and Rich was coming to Greece with us!

Whilst in Greece we decided to do a pre-wedding, very belated engagement shoot, naturally we headed to the beach and Rich made us feel completely comfortable and allowed us to get lost in our own little world, he captured those precious moments perfectly.

"Choosing to take Rich with us was one of the best decisions we made. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better photographer!!"

Thank You Rich xXx
